This says it all…. An old English lake, bordering Sussex and Kent, within the sound of church bells, mist rising from the lake and the disappearance of an orange tipped quill float. Went to look at fishing here last week, couldn’t see the water…. Yes, that’s snow, blowing up from the ice, about 18″ thick. I’m standing to the right in the shadows, contemplating the problem. The auger is broken….
